In the fourth grade at Shady Hill, students study ancient Greece and Greek mythology. After reading the story of Heracles (later known as Hercules by the Romans), each student took a section of the story and retold it in his or her own words. Each student also added a picture they created to illustrate their section of the story.

So here, in their own words, is the story of the 12 labors of Heracles, by Ms. Polansky’s class. Enjoy!
