I chose to research the short-snouted spinner dolphin because when it breaches it spins in the air. The short-snouted spinner dolphin has dark, grayish flippers with pointed tips close to its beak. The flippers have pointed tips which are variable. It has a white or pinkish underbelly. A dark gray or white cape, which is a stripe, that goes from the dorsal fin to the beak. A pale-gray stripe runs between the blowhole and the beak. Its short beak contains about 78-98 sharp, pointed teeth. Sometimes, the lower jaw is white. It has a slightly bulging forehead. There is a distinct notch in the middle of the flukes. The flukes have pointed tips. There is a pale-gray tail stock (underside or side). There is keel below. Above or on the sides the tailstock. The common adult weight is 110-200 lbs. The common length for adults is 5 ¾ to 6 ½ feet long. Now you know all about the short-snouted spinner dolphin.
