The Shepherd's beaked whale is very rare, but I found some facts for you to look at. The Shepherd’s beaked whale has a dark brown upper side as well as a creamy white under side and in between all that are two light diagonal stripes on each side of its body. This whale also has a steep forehead leading to a long narrow beak. The lower jaw has two longer teeth at the tip, that only male’s have. The body of the Shepherd's beaked whale is robust and spindle shaped with small narrow flippers. A young Shepherd's beaked whale is 9 3/4 and 19 3/4 -23 feet fully grown. The Shepherd's beaked whale has no notch in its tail and that's all I know about the Shepherd's beaked whale.
