I picked this dolphin because I think it’s cute and pretty. Have you ever seen a dolphin with a white hourglass pattern on its side? The pattern is very curvy. In the middle of the pattern it is very skinny. This is how the hourglass dolphin got its name. This dolphin has a white underside too. The dorsal fin of an Hourglass dolphin looks like a big wave. The tailstock of the hourglass dolphins has white patches on both sides. Hourglass dolphins have short, thick, black beaks. There is a dark patch and white “spectacles” around each eye. The Hourglass dolphin has a black forehead. The dolphin has strongly curved flippers. I hope you get a picture of what an hourglass dolphin looks like.
