I chose the baiji because it is an endangered species. The baiji has a grayish tummy. Its flukes are bluish on top. The rest of its body is pale bluish grayish. It has tiny eyes on the sides of its head. The baiji has a long beak. It has a large melon and it slopes down steeply to its beak. The baiji has more rounded flippers than the other river dolphins. Its fins are slightly behind the center of its body. The baiji has a blunt dorsal fin hat is short. It has a stocky body. Adult baijis weigh 220-355 lbs. A newborn baiji is 23-35 inches long. It’s too bad that the baiji is endangered.
